“Under the Microscope”: Activists Opposing a Nevada Lithium Mine Were Surveilled for Years, Records Show - The Nevada Independent

NORTHERN NEVADA, JUL 23 – Law enforcement and private security surveilled peaceful activists opposing the Thacker Pass lithium mine, with only one arrest despite years of monitoring, internal records show.

The FBI and other law enforcement agencies have for years worked alongside private security to surveil protesters who oppose Nevada’s Thacker Pass lithium mine, according to internal law enforcement communications reviewed by ProPublica.
