Castle Leads List for All-Rookie First Team
- Stephon Castle, guard for the San Antonio Spurs and the NBA's rookie of the year, was the sole player to receive first-team All-Rookie votes from every member of the global panel, making him the unanimous choice for the 2024-25 NBA All-Rookie first team announced on May 20, 2025.
- The global panel of 100 sportswriters and broadcasters voted for the All-Rookie team based on players’ performances during their rookie season.
- Castle appeared on every one of the 100 ballots, leading all rookies with 1,190 points scored, 423 field goals made, and 74 steals. Over 80 games, he averaged just under 15 points per game, along with around four assists and nearly four rebounds each contest.
- Memphis rookies Zach Edey and Jaylen Wells, together with Atlanta’s Zaccharie Risacher, were featured on every ballot, with Edey earning 73 first-team votes and Wells appearing on 99 of the 100 ballots.
