"Un Certain Respect" Victory for Cespedes in Cannes

"The mysterious gaze of flamenco", the debut opera by Chilean Diego Céspedes, won this Friday the highest award of "A certain gaze", the second section in importance of the Festival de Cannes. The film, a western 'queer' crossed by magical elements that takes place in a mining town in northern Chile, tells how a group of transgender women survives in a remote place where a mysterious disease is spreading.
