UK's Starmer 'appalled' by spate of arson attacks against London Jewish sites

- On Saturday night, a fire caused smoke damage to a room at Kenton United Synagogue in Harrow after a bottle with accelerant was thrown through the window, Metropolitan Police said.

- A little-known group, Harakat Ashab al-Yamin al-Islamiya , has claimed responsibility for many of the attacks, having previously claimed similar actions in Belgium and the Netherlands.
- British Prime Minister Keir Starmer vowed Sunday to bring perpetrators to justice, stating, "This is abhorrent and it will not be tolerated. Attacks on our Jewish community are attacks on Britain."
- Chief Rabbi Ephraim Mirvis warned that while no lives have been lost, the community must recognize "just how dangerous this moment is," as officers have stepped up patrols in areas with large Jewish populations.
