Ukraine will be able to increase its electricity exports to the EU by almost 40%.

The European Network of Transmission System Operators for Electricity, ENTSO-E, has raised the maximum electricity export capacity from Ukraine and Moldova to EU countries by 250 MW, bringing it to 900 MW. This will help balance Ukraine’s power system and allow Ukrainian power plants, if there is excess capacity, to earn additional income, which will be used to counteract the effects of Russian shelling and prepare for winter.
