The Ukrainian army is pushing Russian troops out of the Sumy region in the northeast of the country, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said in an evening speech on social media on Thursday. However, according to Ukrainian bloggers, Russian troops are continuing to advance in the region, the DPA agency noted. The Russian advance was also reported by Reuters, which also refers to maps of the battlefield from Ukrainian sources.
