The European Union, together with Ukraine and Canada, is organising a high-level meeting in Brussels on 11 May to identify, bring back and reintegrate Ukrainian children deported to Russia in a coordinated effort to bring them home and impose sanctions against those responsible.
Thus, the president, Volodimir Zelenski, echoed the report prepared by the 'Bring Kids Back UA' initiative, which notes that more than 2,100 Ukrainian children forcibly taken to Russia have been returned and have been able to meet with their Ukrainian families.
