The new plan for a peaceful settlement of Russia's war with Ukraine suggests that the Russian Federation will pay a "rent fee" for controlling Donbass, writing the British Telegraph with reference to sources.
The peace plan at 28 U.S. points proposed for Ukraine includes, according to some sources of The Telegraph's yoi, a provision by which Moscow would obtain control over the Danube region in the east of the country for the purchase of a “purchase”, reports Kyiv Post.

The American peace plan includes, among other things, Ukraine ceding the entire Donbas, i.e. the Donetsk and Luhansk regions, to the Russian Federation, for which Moscow will pay Kiev unspecified rent amounts, reports the British newspaper The Telegraph.
