Ukraine has no way out

We are barely able to draw the consequences of the multiple forms of bankruptcy of Western hegemonism and the current brutality of the measures taken by the US government to deal with it. It is the most complete ideological disarray for those who in various forms have rightly remained in an ideological mould inherited from the cold war and the apparent victory of a camp.

The ongoing war. Negotiations in Saudi Arabia have not stopped the fighting. Russia continues to gain ground and bombard Ukraine’s energy facilities even though it had agreed not to do so. Kremlin’s determination to follow the war leaves Donald Trump’s mediation in a bad place. Europe, meanwhile, promises more than it can deliver. Only France and the UK have offered troops to monitor a ceasefire. Continue reading...
