POKROVSKOYE, UKRAINE, JUL 26 – Russian forces have captured multiple villages near Pokrovsk as fighting intensifies around the strategic logistics hub, with fewer than 1,500 residents remaining, officials said.

Russian troops are trying to press on the front line. The aggressor wants to try to cut off Ukrainian groups in three strategically important cities of Ukraine: Pokrovsk, Kostiantynivtsi and Kupyansk.
