Slovenia welcomes all diplomatic efforts for a just and lasting peace in Ukraine, including the last meeting of the delegations of both countries, which took place on Wednesday, said Ambassador Samuel Žbogar on Friday at an emergency session of the UN Security Council, which Slovenia helped convene. He called for the adoption of a resolution on a ceasefire.
The UN Security Council held an open briefing on the situation in Ukraine at the request of Greece, Slovenia, Denmark, France, South Korea and the United Kingdom.
