Ukraine attacks Belgorod Region with over 80 drones in 24 hours
Belgorod came under heavy rocket fire and an attack by a fixed-wing drone, which damaged energy infrastructure facilities and one apartment in a multi-family building. The Ukrainian military launched five UAVs in the Borisovsky district, hitting a car, and one fixed-wing drone in the Valuysky district, with no consequences reported. In the Volokonovsky district, a private house was damaged in attacks involving FPV drones and four other UAVs.
Ukrainian drone strikes have caused partial power and heating outages in the western Russian region of Bryansk, local authorities said, calling the attacks some of the worst since the start of the war. Five municipalities were left without power and heating due to attacks on energy infrastructure, Governor Alexander Bogomaz said on Telegram.
According to the Bryansk governor, this is the largest Ukrainian attack on the region since the start of the war. As a result of the strikes, electricity is out in the western Russian Bryansk region.
