UK Review Calls for Ticket Resale Ban and Music Fan Association
The review backs a 50-point Fans’ Charter and says 4,000 fans want a new association to challenge high prices and ticket touting.

- Review chairman Lord Brennan said fans feel "neglected and ripped off" by impersonal service and sharp commercial practices, prompting the independent review to gather thousands of fan perspectives.
- Recommendations in the charter include creating a Music Fan Association and ensuring tiered pricing is "clearly communicated in advance and applied transparently" while the industry resists "dynamic surge pricing."
- To improve accessibility, venues should allocate 2% of capacity to wheelchair users and provide free earplugs and drinking water, while larger events face a mandatory levy to support grassroots artists.
- The Government confirmed it will soon publish a Music Plan, including a £30 million Music Growth Package, and remains committed to plans set out last year to "stamp out touting.
