- Lord Peter Mandelson was arrested on Monday and later bailed on suspicion of the same offence, with his lawyers at Mishcon de Reya saying the arrest followed baseless claims and he will attend a voluntary interview next month.
- The force said the investigation remains ongoing and updates are unlikely for some time, while the Metropolitan Police confirmed a 72-year-old man arrested and bailed to the end of May.
