UK police conclude search at former home of King Charles' brother Andrew
Investigators ended searches at Royal Lodge after arrest on misconduct allegations linked to sharing sensitive information with Jeffrey Epstein during UK trade envoy tenure.
- On Tuesday, Thames Valley Police confirmed searches at Royal Lodge, Windsor, Berkshire have ended, with Assistant Chief Constable Oliver Wright saying `Officers have now left the location we have been searching in Berkshire`.
- Following the arrest on Thursday, detectives continued to search his former home in Windsor over the weekend and into Monday.
- Andrew has denied wrongdoing while investigators continue probing; police completed searches at Sandringham last week and at Royal Lodge, Windsor, Berkshire, now concluded.
- Lord Peter Mandelson was arrested on Monday and later bailed on suspicion of the same offence, with his lawyers at Mishcon de Reya saying the arrest followed baseless claims and he will attend a voluntary interview next month.
- The force said the investigation remains ongoing and updates are unlikely for some time, while the Metropolitan Police confirmed a 72-year-old man arrested and bailed to the end of May.
