UK police charge two men in connection with filming antisemitic TikTok videos
Adam Bedoui and Abdelkader Amir Bousloub face religiously aggravated harassment charges after prosecutors said there was enough evidence to proceed.
On Saturday, Adam Bedoui, 20, and Abdelkader Amir Bousloub, 21, are scheduled to appear at Thames Magistrates Court charged with religiously aggravated harassment over allegations they filmed antisemitic videos.
The charges stem from allegations that both men, of Hillingdon, west London, traveled to Stamford Hill to approach, harass, and film Jewish people for TikTok videos.
Charges include religiously aggravated intentional harassment under the Crime and Disorder Act 1998 and intentional harassment under the Public Order Act 1986, following a joint Metropolitan Police and Crown Prosecution Service investigation.
Huw Rogers, chief crown prosecutor for CPS Direct, confirmed the charges after prosecutors determined sufficient evidence existed to pursue criminal proceedings in the public interest.
Authorities reminded the public that proceedings are now active and defendants retain the right to a fair trial, warning against sharing online information that could prejudice the case.
