Uganda's military chief, the son of President Yoweri Museveni, says he is holding an opposition activist in his basement and has threatened violence against him, after the man's party said he was abducted by armed men last week.
Muhozi Keinrugbe, the president's son and army chief, admitted in a post that he kidnapped the opposition leader's security guard. "His head looks like an egg now," he wrote in a tweet, attaching a photo of the shaved and stunned security guard. This was not the president's son's first threat to the opposition, whose Twitter habits have already led to several incidents in the past.
