Two Gators Basketball Greats Induced into UF Athletic Hall of Fame – WRUF 98.1 FM

Two more Gator greats have etched their name into University of Florida history.  Former Florida men’s basketball legends Vernon Maxwell and Andrew Moten have been inducted into the 2026 UF Athletic Hall of Fame.  The backcourt duo, known as “M&M,” contributed to the Gators’ first two NCAA tournament appearances in 1987 and 1988.  Maxwell is Florida’s current all-time scorer with 2,450 points in 130 games.
