MERCEDES, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Lane closures in Mercedes are scheduled to begin on Monday night and continue through the rest of the week, according to the Texas Department of Transportation. The work scheduled for Monday will be conducted on the eastbound lanes of Expressway 83, between Mile 2 East Road and the Hidalgo and Cameron County line.
