Two youths face aggravated assault and weapon charges after a stabbing following a high school basketball game, police said on March 5.
- Charges were approved on March 5 against two youths connected to a February 2 stabbing at Eric Hamber Secondary School, with the B.C. Prosecution Service filing assault and weapon charges.
- On Feb. 2, just after 9 p.m., the Vancouver Police Department began investigating fights among spectators following a basketball game between Eric Hamber Secondary School and Killarney Secondary School.
- Adam Donaldson confirmed to 1130 NewsRadio that an 18-year-old male victim required surgery and is recovering, while the two youths have been released on court-ordered conditions.
