Two Prospects Receive 20-Game Suspensions In AHL

A pair of NHL prospects will be waiting quite a while before they can play their next game.  Earlier this week, the AHL announced that Rockford goalie Stanislav Berezhnoy and Coachella Valley forward David Goyette have received 20-game suspensions for violating the terms of the AHL/PHPA Performance Enhancing Substance Program.  The program essentially replicates the NHL’s penalties for violations, meaning that this is a first-time offence for bo…
