Popular Mexican Singer Julión Álvarez Delays AT&T Stadium Concert over U.S. Entry Issue
- Julián Álvarez y Su Norteño Banda have postponed their sold-out show scheduled for May 24, 2025, at the stadium in Arlington, Texas, due to unforeseen issues preventing Álvarez from entering the United States in time.
- The postponement happened after Álvarez's team received official notification on May 23 that his U.S. Work visa had been revoked, preventing him from entering the country in time for the scheduled concert.
- Concert promoters CMN and Copar Music stated they are actively working with Álvarez's team to reschedule the performance and honor all previously purchased tickets.
- Nearly 50,000 tickets had been sold for the concert, but Álvarez informed fans on Instagram that he was unable to travel to the United States to perform as planned.
- This visa issue follows Álvarez’s earlier blacklisting in 2017 over unproven allegations, but he was cleared and removed from sanctions in 2022, allowing a return to U.S. Shows earlier in 2025.
