Two old munitions that shut Northampton building deemed safe; status of third uncertain

NORTHAMPTON — Two of the old military munitions that forced the evacuation of a city building Thursday were found to pose no hazard.And the risk that a third item could explode could not be determined, according to Jake Wark, spokesperson for the state’s fire marshal.
