SANTO DOMINGO.- Two men were arrested during a joint operation in which the authorities occupied 389 packages of suspected cocaine on board a speedboat, in waters near the coast of Bani, Peravia province. The operation lasted just over 12 hours and was deployed several nautical miles south of Punta Salinas, after intelligence agencies detected a vessel heading towards the Dominican coast.
