Crash response leads to second crash involving firefighting vehicle in Upton - WNKY News 40 Television
UPTON, Ky. – The Upton Fire Department responded to a crash Friday morning. According to Fire Chief Tyler Hiser, fire units responded to an accident on I-65 northbound near the 79-mile marker. During the response, a firefighting vehicle was rear-ended while in a blocking position to protect responders and civilians at the site of the first crash. Hiser says no injuries have been reported. Both accidents are under investigation.
