The escape of 20 members of the Barrio 18 gang, a criminal organization designated last month by the Trump administration as a foreign terrorist group, has sparked a political crisis in Guatemala.
The Government of Guatemala reported this Saturday on the recapture of two other gang members who are part of the twenty prisoners escaped from a maximum security prison on October 12, a fact that has also unleashed a political crisis in the Central American country.
