Two female pilgrims died on Thursday while circumambulating the sacred mountain Drilburi in Lahaul-Spiti, Himachal Pradesh. One of the deceased is believed to be a local and the other a resident of Darjeeling. Several other pilgrims were also reported to have fallen through the ice, suffered high-altitude sickness, and suffered hypothermia during the pilgrimage.
