AP CM Chandrababu Naidu has clarified that one barrage will be constructed at Vaikunthapuram upstream of the Prakasam Barrage on the Krishna River and another at Chodavaram downstream. Speaking to this effect at the ‘Pedalaku Pattabhishekam’ program organized in Vijayawada on Wednesday, he said that with the construction of two barrages, Vijayawada will be flooded with water.
