2 Men Accused of Strangulation, Home Invasion in Washington
FRANKLIN COUNTY, GEORGIA, JUL 13 – Austin King and Joel Travis Smith face six felony charges after a violent home invasion and assault, with more arrests expected, Franklin County officials said.
- On the morning of July 13, Austin King and Joel Travis Smith were taken into custody in Franklin County, Georgia, in connection with a break-in and attack at a residence.
- Following a 911 call about a break-in and attack at a residence on Fairview Farms Circle, authorities arrested two men in connection with the incident.
- Authorities said the victim was strangled with a dog leash, kicked in the face, and was transported to Sacred Heart Hospital for treatment.
