Two people were arrested and charged with first-degree robbery after robbing a gas station in Smiths Station, according to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office.

SMITHS STATION, Ala, (WAKA) – The Lee County Sheriff’s Office has made two arrests in the armed robbery of a gas station. At around 10:40PM on February 7, deputies were called to the Marathon gas station in the 16000 block of U.S. Highway 280 in Smiths Station.
