The National Civil Police (PNC) carried out an operation in follow-up to the kidnapping and murder of a man on October 28 in Villa Nueva, managing to capture two alleged perpetrators in different parts of the country. In the village of El Guayabo, Santa Catarina Mita, Jutiapa, 26-year-old Antonia María Álvarez Gómez was arrested, who was caught driving the stolen truck to the victim, who had reports of theft from the very day of the kidnapping.
