Twins set to welcome back Bailey Ober from injured list

The Minnesota Twins will activate Bailey Ober from the injured list Thursday while placing reliever Marco Raya on the injured list Wednesday with a right shoulder impingement.
Ober has been sidelined since the end of May with elbow inflammation but completed two rehab games and a bullpen session Tuesday, prompting manager Derek Shelton to say he will "most likely" pitch Thursday.
Mikey Paredes filled the gap during Ober's absence, pitching in seven games with five starts and allowing 15 earned runs in 29 1/3 innings, earning Shelton's praise for stepping up.
Taylor Rogers set a new record Tuesday night for most appearances by a pitcher at Target Field, breaking a tie with Caleb Thielbar after more than 10 years with the organization.
