Twice Member Sana to Make Acting Debut, Will Star in New Film Alongside Rurouni Kenshin Actor Takeru Satoh
JYP Entertainment confirmed Sana will star as the lead in Nyangi, joining Takeru Satoh in a Korean-Japanese production with filming set to start this year.
- On Wednesday, JYP Entertainment confirmed that 29-year-old TWICE member Sana Minatozaki will make her acting debut in the film "Nyangi," starring alongside Japanese actor Takeru Satoh.
- After more than 10 years as a K-pop idol, Sana is transitioning into film. The Japan-born singer debuted in 2015 with the nine-piece group TWICE, known for hits including "Cheer Up" and "What Is Love?"
- Japanese superstar Satoh rose to fame in "Kamen Rider Den-O" and "Rurouni Kenshin," reuniting with Sana after appearing earlier this year in the highlight medley video for MISAMO's debut album "Play."
