TV channel to be axed permanently this week as part of newest shake-up
Sky is also renaming and moving several channels, while London TV remains available on Freeview and Virgin Media, officials said.
Sky will permanently remove London TV from its listings on Tuesday as part of a broader channel shake-up affecting multiple services this week.
The removal follows the recent permanent closure of Crime and Justice, which aired on channel 1024 via Sky Glass and Sky Stream, signaling ongoing service restructuring.
Sky is simultaneously renaming multiple channels: SkyDecadesHD becomes SkyDirectorsHD, Sky Batman becomes Sky Pride, and Nick Jr Peppa becomes Nick Jr. Too.
Despite removal from Sky, London TV remains accessible via Freeview channel 8 and Virgin Media channel 159, preserving viewer access across platforms.
Customers experiencing missing channels should reboot their equipment to refresh the Electronic Programme Guide, as Freeview implements four concurrent updates this month.
