Although government MPs, after dozens of hours of opposition obstruction, finally pushed the amendment on public officials' salaries through the Chamber of Deputies and then the Senate, they are not done yet. They have to face two problems that they have triggered with this change. The first will have an unpleasant impact on their family budgets. The second may end up in the Constitutional Court.
