Li addressed the technical compliance challenges and strategies for Chinese manufacturing industry expansion overseas, attracting significant attention from attending companies. The conference included client enterprise sharing, discussions on overseas operations, and a visit to Geely Auto's factory to provide an efficient platform for exchange. Following this, the Siemens Yangtze River Delta Advanced Manufacturing Innovation Development Conference in Hangzhou emphasized "Intelligence Driving Fusion for Future Creation," with government, corporate, and industry representatives discussing regional industrial trends, sharing insights on smart manufacturing, green development, and how industrial AI can be practically implemented. The conference showcased cutting-edge industrial technologies and integrated solutions covering the entire value chain, offering a more immersive experience for collaboration and knowledge sharing. These two events covered broad aspects of advanced manufacturing and the automotive industry, addressing real challenges in digital transformation and overseas practices, establishing high-level technical exchange bridges along the industrial chain. Li proposed a three-tier solution involving readiness assessment, governance, implementation, verification, and delivery, in collaboration with Siemens, to enhance the integration of overseas regulatory requirements into engineering design and project implementation. Manufacturers are urged to extend compliance responsibility from single product certification to the entire project lifecycle. "Certification bodies are only responsible within the agreed scope," Li emphasized during the roundtable discussion, stressing the importance of clarifying responsibility boundaries to avoid disputes in overseas projects. Participating in Siemens' industrial activities is a significant step for TÜV South to communicate a systematic approach to overseas compliance for the manufacturing industry. Unlike traditional certification education, this sharing session focused on real project conflict scenarios, helping attending companies identify governance gaps that are often overlooked in the early stages of overseas projects.
