The server will be taken offline permanently May 14, 2026. Blizzard has recently done a crackdown on private servers as they approach a rumored release of their own version of Classic+. Large amounts of private servers such as 'Nostalrius' were shut down right before the original World of Warcraft Classic launch in 2019. It looks like other servers are also receiving shutdown notices as well.
