President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, in a statement marking World Humanitarian Day, drew attention to Türkiye's humanitarian aid policy. Erdoğan stated that more than 300 million people worldwide are struggling to survive without basic necessities, and that Türkiye will continue to extend a helping hand to the oppressed in Gaza and other parts of the world.
Communications Director Burhanettin Duran shared a message for 'World Humanitarian Day' and said, "Under the leadership of our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, we continue our efforts to heal the bleeding wounds of our world with an understanding that centers compassion, solidarity, and human dignity."
Communications Director Duran, highlighting the tragedy in Gaza on World Humanitarian Day, stated that Türkiye will stand by those suffering oppression everywhere in the world and will continue its humanitarian aid efforts.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement on the occasion of World Humanitarian Day on August 19. The statement said, "We will continue to work resolutely to deliver aid to those in need in various parts of the world, especially in Gaza."
