The minister reported a primary surplus of $1.4 billion and a positive financial result. He assured that the government maintained the fiscal course, despite the payment of interest and with increases in social funds.
With a similar dynamic of expenditure in nominal terms, the positive result is explained by a real reduction in both resources and expenditure.
The Ministry of Economy managed to keep the state numbers positive with the help of property income and other non-tax revenues.
