According to the Turkish Statistical Institute's (TÜİK) report on Real Return Rates of Financial Investment Instruments, August 2026, the highest monthly real return was achieved in gold bullion. Gold bullion yielded a return of 7.17% when adjusted for the domestic producer price index (YI-ÜFE) and 7.93% when adjusted for the consumer price index (TÜFE), making it the top performer.
TUIK announced the real rates of return on financial investment instruments for the period August 2026. Gold bullion was the most profitable tool for its investor, with a monthly return of 7.93 percent real, according to the CPI. During the same period, the BIST 100 suffered a loss of 1.13 percent and the dollar suffered a real loss of 0.15 percent. In the annual rating, gold was also ranked at the top.
