Tucson Man Sentenced to 10 Years for Meth Trafficking Attempt
TUCSON — A Tucson man has been sentenced to 10 years in federal prison for methamphetamine trafficking, following a failed attempt to deliver the drug and a brief flight from law enforcement. Jose Fernando McCormick, 52, received his sentence on June 27, 2025, from U.S. District Judge Scott H. Rash. In addition to the 120-month prison term, McCormick will serve five years of supervised release. Source
