The student team TU/ecomotive from Eindhoven University of Technology is presenting the ARIA this Tuesday at the Evoluon. The sporty-looking electric city car, reminiscent of the iconic Renault 5 Turbo from the 1980s, allows users to perform minor repairs themselves without being dependent on the manufacturer.

The prototype of a new electric car developed by students from Eindhoven University of Technology, Fontys University of Applied Sciences, and Summa College is being presented today, the universities reported. The students say the design makes the car cheaper and easier to maintain, with easily replaceable parts.
