TSJA annuls ZGAT in Jerez: shops will not open Sundays and holidays

The Superior Court of Justice of Andalusia (TSJA) has annulled the declaration of Area of Great Tourist Afluence (ZGAT) for the entire municipal term of Jerez. The judgment, issued last Tuesday, supports the arguments presented by the City Council. Thus, the Council of Employment, Enterprise and Self-employment of the Junta of Andalusia will have to carry out a new procedure to delimit a ZGAT more adapted to the local tourist reality.
