In the rostrum of the UN General Assembly, French President Emmanuel Macron pleaded on Tuesday 22 September for a "double moratorium" on strikes on energy sites in Russia and Ukraine. Volodymyr Zelensky then told Donald Trump that he was "ready" to stop strikes on Russian energy installations, provided Moscow does the same. But according to experts, there is little chance that the Kremlin will follow.
