The US president overnight said, “I am very loyal to Europe, but we need it (Greenland, ed) for national security reasons, right now.” Yesterday, Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen made one of the strongest statements on this issue since 2019. In the meantime, the Danish Foreign Affairs Committee will hold an extraordinary meeting on Tuesday.
