Ukraine and its European allies are rightly concerned that US President Donald Trump will forget the interests of Washington's allies at the meeting with Russian autocrat Vladimir Putin, sacrificing the invaded country in favour of better trade relations with Moscow. Trump threatened the Kremlin chief with "serious consequences" after the exchange with the Europeans, if he does not intervene in Anchorage and the conquest of Ukraine.
