Trump Doubles His Provocations in the Face of the Intermediate Elections
Trump barred CNN, MS NOW and Politico from White House access as polls show 67% of Americans say he does not carefully consider important decisions.
- On Friday, Trump suddenly announced he was banning CNN, MS NOW, and Politico from the White House effective immediately, catching even his own staff off guard. Reporters from these outlets were denied access Saturday morning.

- Recent polling indicates 71 percent of Americans describe Trump as not even-tempered, 67 percent believe he fails to carefully consider important decisions, and more than 7 in 10 adults doubt his Iran war plan.
- Trump also claimed the 2024 assassination attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania, was a Democrat Plot, though FBI Director Kash Patel testified there was no evidence shooter Thomas Crooks spoke to anyone about such plans beyond his parents.
