US President Donald Trump told CBS television on Saturday that US-Israeli attacks on Iran had been very effective and that it would now be easier to negotiate a diplomatic solution with Iran on issues such as its nuclear program. He also expressed surprise at the weakness of Iran's retaliatory strikes, CBS reported.
