The governor of Burgenland spoke of a "massive" relief for the countries. Thus, according to Doskozil, funds for other things would be free
"This would greatly relieve the countries and help the stability pact," says the Burgenland governor Hans Peter Doskozil on his proposal.
For Burgenland, Governor Hans Peter Doskozil (SPÖ) has already announced the introduction of a truck toll for state roads. "An even better approach would be a nationwide model with a truck toll for federal and state roads," he explained in the news magazine "News." The states would receive their share of the revenue. "This would significantly ease the burden on the states and help with the Stability Pact," Doskozil said.
The Burgenland SPÖ-Landeshauptmann sees this as potential for all of Austria.
