Troy A. Follett, 56, of Frisco passed away on Thursday, June 18, 2026 at UPMC Hamot, in Erie. He is the son of Connie (Barton) Follett and the late Larry J. Follett and was born July 31, 1969, in Ellwood City. He is survived by his wife, of 15 years, and the love of his life, Kris Follett, one step-daughter; Ashley Bishop and her husband Ben of Tiffin, OH, two grandchildren; Bailey and Braxton Bishop, his siblings; Lori Ziegler and her husband Bill of Mercer, Jennifer Miloszewski and her husband Mike of Darlington, his sister-in-law; Cheryl Barnhart and her husband Bob of Tiffin, OH, and one brother-in-law; Tim Hopple and his wife Rachel Tiffin, OH, his nieces and nephews; Jared, Morgan, Marissa, Madison, Alyson, and Ashton as well as his aunts and uncles; Dave and Dee Barnes, and Larry and Nan Barton, Troy was a 1987 graduate of Riverside High School. He was employed several years at Tenaris, in Koppel and he was currently employed by the Ellwood City Forge.

Troy A. Follett, 56, of Frisco passed away on Thursday, June 18, 2026 at UPMC Hamot, in Erie. He is the son of Connie (Barton) Follett and the late Larry J. Follett and was born July 31, 1969, in Ellwood City. He and his family enjoyed going to their camp at Lake Pymatuning. He became a firefighter with Franklin Twp Volunteer Fire Department in 2006 and then he became a dual member of the Ellwood City Volunteer Fire Department, in 2018. Troy played baseball and football in his youth, and he loved watching the Pittsburgh Pirates and the Steelers. He was a jokester and always got the biggest laugh out of playing practical jokes on his friends. Troy will be remembered as a loving son, husband, brother and friend. He loved life and he loved people. In his last act of giving, he was an organ donor and through that he was able to help many people via his organ donation and transplantation. He was preceded in death by his grandparents; Jim and Peg Follett as well as Andrew and Dorothy Barton. The family will receive friends from 2:00pm-8:00pm, on Monday , June 22, 2026, at Turner-Hyde Funeral Home in Ellwood City with a Firefighter Service beginning at 7:00PM with Rev. Tod Custer leading the service. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, June 23, 2026 at 11:00am at the funeral home with Andy Shaffer, officiating. Interment will be in Lillyville Church of God Cemetery in Fombell. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations made in Troy’s name to the Ellwood City Volunteer Fire Department or the Franklin Twp Volunteer Fire Department. Arrangements entrusted to the Turner-Hyde Funeral Home located at 6th and Park in Ellwood City.
