Troopers: Seven bicyclists struck by truck in Volusia County

State Troopers say a Chevrolet Silverado hit 7 bicyclists Saturday morning in Deland. According to Troopers, it happened on Voorhis and Wade avenues. Troopers say 3 of the bicyclists were taken to Halifax Health Medical Center with serious injuries, with one other taken to HCA Monroe Hospital with non life - threatening injuries. The crash is currently under investigation. We’ll update you when we learn more.

Two bicyclists were seriously injured this morning when, witnesses said, a white pickup plowed into their cycling group on East Voorhis Avenue this morning.
